What you’re about to see is definitely not the iPhone 17 Pro — even though it clearly looks like it’s trying hard to copy it. And no, this isn’t some cheap iPhone 17 Pro counterfeit either.
This is said to be a real, legit device: the Honor Power 2, which is expected to arrive sometime in the first weeks after New Year’s Eve.
What “The Panda is Bald” claims
A Weibo tipster known by the nickname “The Panda is Bald” has apparently shared a blurry photo that might show the Honor Power.
The leaked specs aren’t very detailed, but they match earlier reports:
a massive 10,080 mAh battery, 80W fast charging, and the Dimensity 8500 chipset.
Color options could include black and orange — the same kind of Orange shade you see on the iPhone 17 Pro, or at least something very close to it.
Putting color aside, the leaked image reveals a phone with an almost identical iPhone 17 Pro-style camera island. The lenses are arranged in the same layout, though the lens on the right looks slightly asymmetrical on this Honor model (if the leak is real)
For anyone who dislikes Apple’s design but loves huge batteries, the Honor Power 2 could be both a dream and a headache — maybe avoid staring at it too long.
Price and availability hopes
The original Honor Power launched at around $270, so the big mystery is whether Honor can keep this successor under $300. There are no price details yet, but fingers crossed it remains affordable.
And hopefully, this time it doesn’t stay locked inside China. With its giant 10,080 mAh battery, 80W charging, and iPhone 17 Pro vibes, the Honor Power 2 could become a very interesting phone — without demanding an Apple-sized paycheck.
